I’ve written about extensively about breast milk and my breastfeeding journey over the last few weeks, but what you don’t know is that up until a few days ago, I was wearing nothing remotely close to beautiful feeding bras. Instead, I wore shady sports bras which I bought while I was pregnant, because they were stretchy and offered comfort when my nips were violently sensitive. The reason I’m not in thaaat situation anymore is because I met two dynamic moms and businesswomen who were tired of the same struggles.
Nobuhle and Nyasha are young mothers looking to make an impact on maternity fashion, specifically feeding bras. Inspired by the lack of sensual feeding bras for the modern mom on the South African market, the idea of Bella Lait as conceived. I LOVE it. And I love the fact that they also run small. It’s been very hard finding pretty nursing bras specially in my size 32B. Certain companies seem to forget that even smaller breasts produce milk. Thanks for this!
