It’s not every Tuesday that I get whisked to Cape Town for a fabulous skin and beauty experience – so excuse me if I come across a little bit too excited about the launch of JOHNSON’S Vita-Rich Smoothie Body range.
It was no ordinary launch – it took place at the unassuming Atlantic Film Studios, in Montague Gardens. On arrival, we were welcomed with signature cocktails and an aerial yoga display, which we were encouraged to try. I, of course, know my limits my friends, so I just enjoyed the ambiance and catching up with the other fab ladies that attended.
The inspiration behind the range is all the healthy ingredients that we eat – such as peaches, honey, oats and coconut. Right from the beginning, there were touch-points that subtly introduced us to the range – starting with the ingredients of the cocktails, the products used in our hand massages and an inviting flat-lay station.
Later on, our surprise reveal was a cooking experience with Chef Matt Manning, an unexpected turn for a beauty launch. After being served with starters, we teamed up to challenge one another to make our own Vita-Rich Smoothie-inspired mains.
Overall, I had a fun day with the girls, right up to the moment we were running through Cape Town International Airport in our heels to make our flight!
I’ve spent the last week and a half trying the range out at home and I’m really impressed. I suffer from dry skin and I have been able to apply it, without feeling like I need to add my usual additional oils. not surprising, since it was forulated with the intention of keeping skin moisturized for up to 48 hours.
The scent is also uplifting and perfect for this spring/summer!
This indulgent range is available both a Body Wash and a Body Lotion. Visit Johnsons page for more information.
Have you tried it or seen it in-store? I would love to know!
